This guide walks you through the complete process of creating and uploading a course on the Teacha! Inspire platform as an instructor. 


Step 1: Log in to Teacha! Inspire 

  1. Go to https://teachainspire.com/
  2. Click “Sign in” in the top-right corner.
  3. Click "Sign in with Snapplify."
  4. Enter your email address and password or select another authentication method (make sure you are logging in as an instructor).


If you do not have an account yet, register first and request instructor access.


Step 2: Access Your Instructor Dashboard

  1. After logging in, click on your profile icon in the top right.
  2. Select “Instructor Dashboard” from the dropdown menu.
  3. This opens your Instructor Dashboard, where you can manage courses, earnings, and students

Step 3: Start Creating a New Course 


On the left-hand menu, click CoursesTeacha! Inspire LMS Instructor Dashboard with 'Courses' selected in the sidebar. The main panel titled 'Courses' displays filtering options but no courses are found. A blue 'Add New' button is visible on the top right.

Then click “Add New” (usually a button on the top right).

Step 4: Fill in Basic Course Information 


You’ll now be on the course creation page. Complete the following:


Basic Information:

  • Course Title: Give your course a clear, relevant name. (e.g., Creative Writing )
  • Short Description: A one-sentence summary that appears in search results.
  • Category: Select the most suitable category (e.g., Languages, Sciences, Foundation Phase).
  • Featured Image: Upload a cover/banner image (recommended size: 800x450px). This helps your course stand out.

Step 5: Build Your Course Content 


Scroll to the Course Builder section to structure your course:


Add Sections and Lessons

  • Sections: Group lessons into themes or modules (e.g., Introduction, Unit 1, Unit 2).
  • Lessons:
    • Add lesson titles.
    • Choose your content type:
      • Upload video (.mp4), PDF, or document files
      • Add text-based content using the built-in editor
    • You can also include downloadable materials or links.

Add Quizzes or Assignments (Optional)

  • Useful for checking learner progress.
  • You can set questions, passing grades, and time limits.

Step 6: Configure Course Settings 


Pricing Options

  • Choose if your course is:
    • Free
    • One-time payment
    • Subscription-based

Visibility

  • Choose whether your course is:
    • Public (visible to everyone)
    • Private (only accessible to specific users)
    • Draft (still in progress)

Enrollment Options

  • Enable or disable enrollment limits.
  • Choose start/end dates (if applicable).

Step 7: Preview and Submit for Review 

  1. Use the Preview button to view the course as a User would.
  2. Once everything looks good, click “Submit for Review.”
  3. The Teacha! The Inspire team will review and publish your course; you’ll be notified once it’s live.
